The purpose of the Constitution observance week is to promote study and education about the United States Constitution which was originally adopted by the American Congress of the Confederation on September 17, 1787. Specifically, the Daughters of the American Revolution state the purpose as:

  • Emphasize citizens' responsibilities for protecting and defending the Constitution.

  • Inform people that the Constitution is the basis for America's great heritage and the foundation for our way of life.

  • Encourage the study of the historical events which led to the framing of the Constitution in September]

President Donald Trump proclaimed Constitution Week on September 17, 2017.


Science Club! We will have our first official meeting after school on Thursday September 26th for an hour. If the weather's good, we'll have a star party from 8:30-10pm. Follow the Science Club twitter account for up to date weather cancellations


The 2019 Yearbooks have arrived...yearbook students will be in lunch on Wednesday to pass out yearbooks for those of you that purchased them.  A few extra are available for purchase, information about purchasing one can be picked up at lunch, as well.


This is a reminder that all male students that have turned 18 years of age must register for the selective service program. Please check your email for the official Selective Service System  link for more information and ways to register.


Attention student drivers:   applications for personalized parking spaces are due by the end of the day THIS  Friday, September 20. The cost per space is only $10, so get your applications in ASAP.   You will be officially permitted to paint after school on Thursday, September 26, on Saturday, September 28, and Tuesday, October 1.  Students must provide their own paint and supplies. See Mr. McNutt if you have any questions.   

If you are interested in meeting with the rep from Bluffton University (9/19  10:00 am) & Heidelberg (10/1 2:00) please sign up in the office. 


The FFA will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, October 4th.  Students interested in donating blood please see Mr. Smith to schedule an appointment.


The guidance office is closed for the next 4-6 weeks.


Any student interested in the Champaign County Area Swim Team see Mr. Huffman
