Leading the Triad team was Elijah Carson. Competing in the Accounting challenge, he placed 1st in the state of Ohio, 2nd in the Central Region (upper Midwest of the US), and 11th nationally. His Regional placing also qualified him to represent the state of Ohio and the Central Region at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida in April. With his qualification to the International Conference, Carson becomes the first two-time Triad DECA International qualifier.
Dylan Van Tassel led the Triad charge in the Personal Finance Challenge. Van Tassel finished 2nd in the state of Ohio, 3rd in the Central Region, and 16th in the nation. In fact, Triad DECA placed 11 out of the top 12 in the state of Ohio in Personal Finance. Joining Van Tassel in the top 5 in Ohio was Jackson Lightle, Kohl Eggleston, and the team of Josiah Leasure, Klinton Driscoll, and Elijah Carson.
